The council of the four winds
Verse · Justin McDermott
A poem by Justin McDermott about the council at the edges of consciousness, conflicting influences and the paths between hell and the divine.
Read as text
Eluding the edges of my consciousness
Don’t forget to pack your sunshine
Things will get REAL
The spectrum of influence
Ranges from angelic to godlike
To demonic and devilish
This council is by no means unified
Its resolve, though, is to divide
Some paths south take direction from the north
And some paths north from the south
With lines that blur and intertwine
What is of hell
And what is divine?
